Smart Era : Smart Community-Led Transition for Europe’s Rural Areas
SMART ERA helps rural areas become resilient, sustainable, and digitally connected. First of all, it addresses challenges such as depopulation, limited services, and economic decline. Moreover, the project delivers community-led solutions tailored to local needs. This ensures innovation is practical, scalable, and sustainable. It develops Smart Innovation Packages (SIPs) that combine technology, social innovation, and governance. The SIPs can be replicated across European regions. The project encourages collaboration between communities, SMEs, and stakeholders, creating stronger local economies and improved rural services.

SMART ERA’s Open Call selected 11 innovative solutions to tackle rural challenges.
Challenge 11 — Digital Tourism Platform
For this challenge,we were chosen. Travel2Devetaki will be developed by our company Travel2Fit.The platform will offer:
- Map-based tourism information
- Destination promotion
- Personalised travel planning
Also, it will highlight local attractions and will support rural tourism growth.
Visitors enjoy tailored experiences, boosting regional engagement.
