A Destination Tool with tangible results
The Cultural Calendar was designed by Travel2Fit for POTAP as a digital destination management tool, incorporating:
- User-centered design (easy search features, various event display formats, etc.),
- Interactive, customizable, and scalable features,
- Integration with social networks,
- Continuous updates (in both Greek and English), and communication tools for interested parties.
Its adoption shows how digital innovation combined with local events can highlight the cultural identity of a destination, contribute to its sustainable tourism development, and encourage collaboration among local stakeholders in shaping Pieria’s tourism experience.
For any cultural organization in Pieria wishing to include a future event in the calendar, a simple form must be filled out, available here.
