Shorter for “Improving sustainable tourism development and capacity of tourism SMEs through transnational cooperation and knowledge transfer”, this project aims at enhancing SMEs’ capacities and skills for assessing their current environmental performances and taking up solutions which would allow them to align their businesses with certain circular economy principles. A total of 62 European SMEs will benefit from this project.

TouriSME |

Development of pathways for local rural ecotourism in Spain and Italy.
TouriSME’s mission is to boost SMEs in the tourism sector, considering the priorities of localities in the Green Deal project, and to support local businesses related to rural (eco)tourism, through the development of a roadmap for sustainable local tourism and an ecosystem of agri-food value chains. And with the help of local tourism ecosystem actors, achieve a balance through sustainability, productivity, and digital transition.

SUSTOUR | Jul. 2022 – Jun. 2023

SUSTOUR aims to foster the capacities and skills of 175+ tour operators (SME’s) to implement training, management systems, standards and solutions, which will improve their sustainable management and performance and open up new market opportunities. SMEs from all EU countries will be invited to benefit from SUSTOUR.

Project co-funded by the European Union to boost sustainable tourism development and increase the capacity building of traditional tourism SMEs through transnational cooperation and knowledge/tech transfer.

Tourbit | Jan. 2022 – Jun. 2024

The European co-funded project TOURBIT (“Fostering digitalisation of European tourism SMEs”) will support tourism SMEs in the uptake of digitalisation and innovation by fostering their skills, knowledge and network until June 2024.

In that sense, TOURBIT partnership proposes a transnational and cross-ecosystem support scheme based on three pillars ‘Learning, Building, Testing and Implementing’.
